Pegamax Broad Spectrum equine parasiticide is a veterinary-grade wormer formulated to target and eliminate tapeworms, large and small strongyles (including arterial larval stages), pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large mouth stomach worms, neck threadworms, bots, and skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia species. It is suitable for horses of all ages, including pregnant mares, breeding stallions, and foals.

Directions for Use

1. Determine the horse’s body mass accurately to maximize the use of the paste.
2. Each mass marking on the syringe will deliver 5,4 g (5 ml) of paste, which is sufficient to treat 100 kg body mass.
3. Insert the syringe in the gap between the front and back teeth and deliver paste onto the back of the tongue.
4. Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds to ensure swallowing of the paste.
5. Before administration, ensure that the horse does not have food in its mouth.

Recommended Dosing

Mares: Regular dosing at 6 – 8 week intervals on pastures during summer and autumn.
Stallions: Treat at least twice a year.
Foals: Regular strategic treatment at 6 – 8 week intervals, commencing at ± 2 months of age.

It is important to alternate between two different groups of dewormers during the year
