Equitop Pronutrin can be administered prior to or during periods when high performance is required, feeding high levels of concentrates, changing types of feed, reducing feed, horses refuse to eat, during transportation, weaning foals, rank conflicts in the herd, or when disease conditions may necessitate additional nutrients being available to the gastric mucosa.

Directions for Use

Administer Equitop Pronutrin according to the feeding recommendations provided in the product insert in the bucket. For an average-sized horse, one container is sufficient for 14 days of use.

Standard Feeding: Feed 50g of Equitop Pronutrin per 100kg of body weight daily for a minimum of 28 days. A 40g scoop is included for measurement.

Racehorses and Trotters: Administer the recommended quantity of Equitop Pronutrin prior to training or racing.

Mature Horses: Mix the recommended quantity of Equitop Pronutrin with the normal grain or supplement ration of the horse’s diet and divide the daily dose equally between feedings. For instance, if the horse is fed twice daily, mix half the recommended daily quantity of Equitop Pronutrin in the morning feed and the second half in the evening feed. Start with half the recommended daily quantity if the horse is reluctant to eat and gradually increase the amount over the next 2 to 3 days until the recommended dosage is reached.

Foals: For suckling foals, mix the recommended quantity of Equitop Pronutrin with three times the quantity of lukewarm water. Allow the mixture to stand for 2-3 minutes before feeding the foal using a syringe or bottle.
