• Slaughter Period: Do not slaughter animals for human consumption within 7 days of the last application.

Precautions

•  Do not mix Ektoban with any other dip.
• Skin Contact: In case of accidental skin contact, remove contaminated clothing and thoroughly wash your skin with soap and water.
• Avoid Prolonged Exposure: Steer clear of prolonged contact with the dip wash and inhalation of spray mist.
• No Eating or Smoking: Do not eat, drink, or smoke while mixing or using the dip.
• Prevent Contamination: Take measures to prevent contamination of food, food utensils, grazing areas, drinking water, dams, rivers, etc.
• Disposal: Destroy empty Ektoban containers by perforation and flattening; never reuse them for any other purpose.

Recommendations

• Spray Races: When using Ektoban in spray races, prepare only enough spray-wash for a single treatment, and ensure that wash is not left standing for the next spraying session.
• Boosting: To boost the effectiveness of the spray-wash, add 200 ml of Ektoban after every 100 head of cattle. This helps maintain consistent pest control.
• Hand-Spraying: For hand-spraying, it’s essential to thoroughly wet the animal’s skin, paying special attention to areas where ticks tend to cluster, such as under the tail, the ears, and between the legs.

Dipping Intervals

• Ticks, Flies, and Screw-Worm: For comprehensive protection against ticks, flies, and screw-worm infestations, dip or spray your cattle on a weekly basis.
• Lice: Dip or spray your cattle for lice control as needed.
